Proud to be a Falcon, Keith Zinger?

I'm both glad and unsurprised that our second pick signed was our good friend Mr. Zinger, who the AJC reports signed a four year deal. He's a perfectly serviceable blocking tight end who should fit well into Mularkey's schemes, and he's got room to add more bulk to make him more effective in that aspect of the game. I'll be amazed if he catches more than 5-10 balls next year, but again, that's not really a big deal.

After the team made a big splash right away with Matt Ryan, it's good to see that the team is still chugging along on contract negotiations. Chances are we'll see at least two within the next week or so.
