Turner...Michael turning things around?

I having reading the blogs and listening to the podcast and they all seem to say the the same thing. Michael is great but what about the quarterback for him. I mean I am excited also about his skills. I saw them practice and I must say he is impressive.
The first game will be against his former team THE CHARGERS. I think we will all get a taste of who this Turner the Burner really is.

Huh?
This post makes very little sense. I am not making fun of you, just not sure what you are getting at. Will The Burner kick ass this year? Yes, but only if the vets on our o-line step it up, the young guys step it up and Mughelli (sp?) lives up to his contract. Dave The Falconer, I’m not going to lie, this site is sad right now. We need to get it poppin’ before training camp starts.

Agreed.
I haven’t argued with anyone in a while and I feel slightly sad about that. We need more controversial topics. I vote for a thread about Vick and his superior ability to Ryan and how there is a reasonable fair chance that he will take over the number one spot when he gets out.

No argument for you!
Debating issues is one thing, but this will never happen in a million years. Waste of breath.

Actually
There is a good chance of it happening. We still maintain all the rights to VIck and his contract is still active. If Ryan completely bombs, then Vick will be out of jail in time to get back into training and be ready for the next season. Vick is a far superior talent than Ryan is and at any given moment can change the game with one quick run. I get it, you like to sleep with dogs and Vicks off the field issues makes you angry, blah blah blah, but the point still remains that when it comes to football, not one QB in today’s game can make the opposing team change their gameplan the way Vick does.
And also, your reply just opened it up to discuss, debate, argue, so yeah, obviously not a waste of breathe was it? Haha!

I completely agree
I know it goes against the norm. I know he’s a dog killer. But, any day of the week, I would take Vick back. For all his haters, Redman was out of the league for three years (the same amount of time that Vick will be out) and he’s probably going to be a starter in week 1. Bottom line: He will start at QB in this league again.

O.S.A's?
It’s the offseason. I say that instead of waiting around for someone to say something we plan on some OSA’s (organized site activities). My vote is for a thread that debates, then comes up with the top 10 Falcon’s of all time. Like a Falcoholic Ring Of Honor or something to that extent. I think that will get some creative juices flowing.
BTW: Can anyone explain why off season practices are referred to as OTA’s? I know it stands for organized team activity and all, but is it kind of a “wink wink nudge nudge” way of saying “practice” so as not to violate and NFLPA labor standards? Kind of like the way that they say that some OTA’s are “voluntary” yet if anyone doesn’t show up they get hell for it.

Good idea!
The next month will have very little football news. Your idea would give everyone something to think about in the meantime.
If the process involves voting, I suggest that it be done by position. Comparing Tommy Nobis to Michael Vick, for example, seems too much of an “apples to oranges” proposition.
Regarding OTAs: I read somewhere that in Cincinnati, arraignments count as OTAs… :)

By position
I think works well and will give us enough material to last for a good amount of time. Dave, what do you think?
