Matt Ryan's new nickname

It is difficult to keep coming up with these, but after Joey Joe Joe Junior Shabadoo, and "Comrade" Dimitroff, I beleive I've struck gold again and found the most appropriate nickname available for Matt Ryan.  If you have not seen Team America World Police, you won't get it, however if you have, I motion that Ryan's new nickname mimick Matt Damon's only lines in the aforementioned motion picture master peice....

I think we should go with Matty Light. Play on Natty Light, the crappy beer. I figure, neither are your first choice, but in the end you just want them to get the job done.

Matty Shark Attack, but I don't know why. Until you guys come up with an official nickname (you've been gold in the past), I'm going to go with that.

Nothing to get, really

I started listing weird, random nicknames for him a few posts back and came up with that one. I guess I just amused myself.

I’ll wait for a couple more suggestions, and then I’m putting this to a community vote. I think we may need to record an audio file of one of us saying Matttttt Ryyyyyyannnn that I can link to every time if we go with that.

My vote is for “The Face” as every friggin time an analyst refers to him they have to mention the fact that “he is the new face of the franchise”.

Floor Matt (that’s were he will wind up if we don’t shore up the O line)

And of course his fans can be called the Mattley Crue.

Matt Ice

‘Should have drafted Dorsey because championship teams are built from the lines’ is my choice for nicknames for Ryan. I’m sorry I take it back. I guess you all can sense a little resentment there.

But since he was drafted by our team, we have to roll with him. His nickname should be Matt Ice. Matt Ice is more mature and sounds more profound then Matty Ice. Matty is for Pop Warner. Matt is for the “franchise” QB of an NFL team.
