Around SBN: Fighters React to Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

daunte and randy

I was discussing the truly feasible landing spots for the aforementioned formerly dynamic duo and i settled on one team in particular...the bucAneers.  Last I checked they were 44 mil under the cap, and Garcia missed a number of games to injury last yr.  While I dont believe this will actually happen, I was interested in hearing other cases be made for potential destinatons.

I don't think they have the cap space
But for my money, there isn't a more logical landing place than the Jets. They could stick it to the Pats, pull in a ton of fans and probably instantly improve their crappy offense. Makes too much sense to happen, though.

Randy might be be smoking....
....a huge fatty splif when he talked to Dante.  Finish what we started?  OK, so first of all any team that was desperate for a QB and a WR is obviously not a team in Super Bowl contention much less playoff contention.

I mean seriously, how many teams out there are thinking 'Well, we are almost there,  We just need the last couple of pieces to really put us over the top"  And it just so happens that those last two pieces happen to be QB and WR which by the way are two of the most important positions  in general.

So the point might be moot now that Moss has resigned with the Pats, but here is my impression of Dante Culpepper leaving a message on Randy Moss' voice mail.

"Hey Randy, it's Dante.  Just heard about you resigning with the Pats.  SWEET!!! So when can I expect a call from the Patriots to sign me?  Hello?  Randy? Are you there and just not picking up the phone?  Anyway, call me back."

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face.

Addendum
"Remember when we used to play in Minnesota? Wasn't that awesome. People thought I was good. Remember when I was good? Then you left, and suddenly I wasn't so great anymore. Remember that, Randy? Remember?

...I'm so alone."
