Sam Baker Coming Back Slowly
There's no immediate timetable for his return, but if he's practicing I'd guess it'd either be against the Bucs or the Vikings. A little more caution would go a long way toward easing my concerns about our left tackle of the future.

Golly
So yesterday was his first day back on the field?! Not sure who was arguing that he’s healthy already, but this article shows that he clearly is not. Had he been healthy already, he’d have been on the practice field earlier than yesterday.

Whew!
Those earlier reports that he was coming back this week scared me to death. Glad that sober heads are prevailing, apparently.

The ajc
had made the comment about baker being back. He was “limited” today in practice along with Laurent Robinson, Grady Jackson, and Babs among others…
Getting him back in the next two to three weeks would be a HUGE boost to our line. I think his performance early in the year was VERY underrated. He may just be our best OLinemen.
As good as they have played, we still need an upgrade or two come Draft day.
Weiner didn’t practice but he will likely play for us Sun… he has performed very admirably.

I don't really care if Weiner practices
Let him rest up/watch film during week. Save that energy.

Amended article in AJC
says Baker went through both practices this week with no problems.

this is a wait and see
Guess we’ll just have to wait and find out what happens on the field on Sunday. I honestly could care less when he comes back, but it is going to freaking awesome when he does. We are holding strong without him, but from what I’ve seen when we have him is that we excel with him on the field.
We can win without him, but he helps a lot with the dominating process, whether he comes back this week or a few weeks from now, I’ll be happy knowing he’s back and in full health rather than being back and taking a risk.
