With great power...
...comes great responsibilty. Or in our case, with great success comes lot's of media attention and not all of it so great. I wonder how much traction either of these stories would have had if we were 6-10 and not in the playoffs. Both of these stories were posted within minutes of each other on PFT

Now I could care less about McKay leaving the team, but the Turner situation is a little unsettling for the sarcastic tone that Florio takes.
"But, conveniently, no arrest was made and no charges filed."

PFT
Florio always has to be a smart ass. A real reporter might try to find out some facts surrounding the event, instead of insinuating impropriety with no supporting evidence. I generally like PFT, but this guy seems to have no reporting skills or ethical scruples.
When Morten Andersen retired, Florio made no mention that he was the all-time leading scorer, but he did find time to make fun of his age. What a dickless excuse for a “reporter”, he gives the occupation a bad name.

Florio's a hard worker
But that article reads like he gets off on either hating the Falcons or coming up with conspiracy theories. As a reporter myself, I can tell you that domestic disturbances can be as benign as two people shouting at eachother, in which case the cops aren’t going to get out the nightsticks and haul a guy off in cuffs. Florio doesn’t know any more than we do what happened there, so I’m completely baffled with the way he wrote that.
Still, I’d rather not see any Falcons coming up in these kinds of stories. It always makes you uneasy when the family is involved.

And before anyone says anything
I am aware of Florio’s writing style.

I concur. Florio or not, something did happen.
In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face.

Mountains out of mole hills.
Nothing to see here, move along.

From Florio's Pre-Season Predictions
“I see the Falcons taking the NFC South. No, I’m kidding. The Falcons STINK!”
What does he know?

Florio could fall into a bucket of money and come up
grasping his own… well, you know.
