It is inconceivable to me that some fans are not supporting the team's quarterback and the team when they're doing as well as they are. Anyone--no matter what their race, religion, or background--who would rather watch a team with a losing record than a winning record is not a real Falcons fan. I don't care who the QB is.

Unbelievable.

Those "fans" can take a hike.

If anyone could actually wear a team’s jersey and then root against that team, they deserve to be dragged out back and shot.

I want my team to win, but more than that I want the players on the team to conduct themselves with honor, dignity and class. So far, the new regime has accomplished all that.

I don’t care if the guys on the team or white, black, purple, green, straight, gay, Christian, Jew, Hindu…whatever. Just be good people and win some games.

So-called "fans"

can “bite my shiny metal ass”. How can you NOT root for these guys when they play their hearts out every week? This is the one and only case where I favor waterboarding!

Go Falcons!

New Contracts for Jenks, Babs

AJC.com reporting that the Falcons have signed Michael Jenkins and Jonathan Babineaux to long-term deals. Jenks re-upped for 5 years, $20 million. Babs’ contract terms not mentioned. Stupid AJC.

Early reaction

Solid moves, both. If the team thinks Jenkins can be a true #2 receiver, then that’s a complete steal for them. Babineaux has been a quality lineman for the last couple of years, legal issues aside.

I’ll post more reaction later.

They're called Vick Fans

And I’ll be glad to see them go.

I remember all the people that rallied behind Chris Chandler and he wasn’t even that good. But he was on a winning team and they rallied behind him (for a short time).

The difference here is between long-time Falcon fans and those that were sucked in by the media circus that was Vick.

And another thing: The Burner Turner signs in the Georgia Dome are predominantly held by white fans. That article seethes with South and African American stereotyping.

LOL

Quite the typo there. No only did it change the meaning, it changed the meaning to THE EXACT OPPOSITE of what you intended. Well played sir ;-)

We’ve heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true.

FILE - In this Sept. 4, 2009 file photo, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Shaun Hill aims a pass downfield against the San Diego Chargers during the first quarter of an NFL preseason football game in San Diego. Hill earned the starting job for the 2009 season by beating out Alex Smith, who missed last season after re-injuring his surgically repaired throwing shoulder. Head coach Mike Singletary largely chose Hill based on his play down the stretch last year: he went 5-3 over the final eight games and he also owns a 5-0 record at home in Candlestick Park.
