Outlook for the Bears game?
Surprisingly little chatter this week about dah Bears, so here we are...
My brain wishes the Falcons luck, but my gut fears the Bears may be too much for them. Chicago may have the best defense we face this year; they’re 3rd in yards allowed per pass and 7th in yards allowed per rush. If the Bears get after Ryan the way Tampa or Carolina did, it could be a long day. Fortunately, Chicago's offense is pretty average. If we can snag a timely turnover or two, perhaps we might parlay that into a low scoring upset win; I don’t think the Falcons win a shootout type game, especially if White can’t play.
The Bears will likely be our toughest test yet, and I can’t rationalize setting the bar very high on Sunday. I just want to see a spirited game without a lot of mistakes, and watch this team continue to make a little progress each week. A win would be a welcome bonus.
That's my wildly uninformed and optimistic 2 cents worth. Go Falcons!

I'm predicting a win...
If The Burner and our Off Line come to play, I think we have a solid chance of taking home the “W”
Sorry for my absence. I was out of the country. Without a computer. You know how that goes.

Hey, welcome back!
I can see us getting the win if Kyle Orton im/explodes out there. If he throws for 300 yards again, we’re probably already cooked.

Kyle Orton Exploding?
That would take some clean up. If John Abraham get a couple of Sacks, then you never know what going to happen.
If my mother put on a helmet and shoulder pads and a uniform that wasn't the same as the one I was wearing, I'd run over her if she was in my way. And I love my mother.

I'll have a beer...
but i’m not sure if it will be in celebration for drowning my sorrows. I think our Falcons have a decent chance to upset the Bears, and you are right in saying that this it our toughest test yet. Especially with Tommie Harris back for the Bears (i would love if that had been a 2 game suspension) it will be interesting to see if our line will be able to get our ground game going. If Turner can get 100 yards on the ground then i think we can win the game.
I have faith in Smitty and the Birds, so here is to the Falcons!

I wouldn't worry too much about Tommie Harris.
When healthy, he is as good as it gets, but he hasn’t been all that healthy this year. He will definitely dress and get on the field, but I doubt he gets the majority of the reps, especially if the (my) Bears decide to gear up against Turner.
On a different note, while Turner has been pretty outstanding, is Jerious Norwood expected to get more touches? In the few times I have seen him he has looked like a big play just waiting to happen.

Weird stat of the day
Here’s one for you: Since 2002, Faclons are 13-5 ATS (72%) the week after they played a game in which their opponent did not have a single fumble. Packers had no fumbles last week.

You mentioned..
The bears offense was average, try telling that to Bears fans after last weeks performance against the Lions.

Kind of a sweeping statement
I’ll agree, it was based solely on dah Bears ranking 18th in yds/rush and 15th in yds/pass. Special teams, injuries and Devin Hester don’t exist in my cloistered little world, too darn inconvenient!
Coincidentally, both Chicago and Atlanta scored 34 points on Detroit this year. The Lions’ defense also made Green Bay (48 points) and San Francisco (31 pts) look pretty good on offense, as well. Cheers!

5 turnovers
Falcons win in overtime 24-21. MY first chance to see the falcons this year on the west coast. I am hopeful for an exciting game and a great win to make everyone stand up and take notice of the Falcons.

I think the Falcons have a real shot to win it...
No doubt.
My guess:
22-20.
