So according to police, Babineaux  allegedly killed his girlfriend's dog. As someone who is in the gestation stages of journalism, I want to put a big stress on that alledged. If it turns out the dog was just sick and died, then it really sucks but there's no blame to be placed. If he actually killed the dog...then he's an asshole. Sorry, but anybody who's capable of something like that clearly isn't a very terrific human being. If he's found guilty, then this clearly trumps Vick's Magic Bottle for crime of the offseason, and he deserves to take a kidney punch in the wallet from the team on top of whatever else happens to him. Not that I have much hope for either, really.
